Composition

Using the "New" action, in this section you can create an email template for sending out messages.

The title is for internal use and is used to identify the model.

The Subject is what appears in the "Subject" field of the mail, and should be very succinct and relevant in terms of its content, with no special characters.
This field is taken into account when calculating a spam score.

Sender's name, sender's email address and email address for reply are fields pre-defined by the mail service, and should always remain as supplied by the development team.

Template indicates which graphical format to use for the body of the email.

Template culture defines the language of the content of the email.

Text and URL link for header are used to give the mail client a secondary link to access the content of the mail.

Body is the body of the mail. Here you can format the text as you wish, in compliance with the limits set by the mail client.
The Preview actions allows you to see the text laid out on the page.
Always bear in mind that certain details change based on the mail client. The best way to test an email is to send it to the test mailing list to view it on the most popular clients.
If you use pre-set layouts, remember to select those for the newsletter.
You can add images by uploading them to the Newsletter body section before inserting them via the specific text editor action.

Did you know...?
To avoid issues with spam filters, you cannot attach documents to the mail. You can, however, load the file in other areas of the project and then insert a direct link, avoiding third-party links. Contact the development team for the details.

The Sending Data area allows you to select the recipient's mailing list, and to set the option Send as soon as possible or define a pre-set time.

The Sending area summarizes the details of the mailing list and the credits made available by the mail service.

With the Send action at the bottom, an item is created in the relevant section, and is given the status of Waiting.

The number of mailings depends on the email service activated by the development team. Usually there is a monthly limit with the possibility to add packages of additional mailings as and when required.
