Image and thumbnail optimization
The images are automatically resized during the process of displaying them on the page: starting from the original, a thumbnail in webp format is created, which is used in that specific context to optimize loading times.
At present, the following image formats are supported: jpg, png, gif, svg ad webp.
More info: Given that the storage space of the file is normally limited, and the size involved has an impact on the maintenance costs, we recommend that you always optimize images and documents before uploading them. For example, a PDF can be brought down to low resolution, or the image can be resized to a resolution that is higher but still reasonable for the web, such as 2,000 x 2,000 pixels at 72 dpi.
